'Lone Cosmonaut' is a solo project of indeterminate duration, consisting of electronic, experimental and ambient music.
All sounds are generated by a union of software, hardware and occasional field recordings, working together in almost perfect disharmony.

Witch-Cult Hypothesis
Something of a departure for Lone Cosmonaut, his seventh release on TCFSR is a single longform work that flows around soundscape coupled with passages of analogue electronica.
"For this Lone Cosmonaut release I wanted to try an album that is overall, a continuous work. Hence, there are no titles for the movements as the whole album is the Witch-Cult Hypothesis."

The fifth album by Lone Cosmonaut
Minimal
Although released in April 2018 most of the pieces on the fourth album by Lone Cosmonaut were created in 2017. The tracks are relatively sparse, stripped-down and more 'experimental' in nature than previous Lone Cosmonaut releases.
The intention was to use mainly modular synthesizers, but over time this developed into a combination of modular hardware and digital VST's all of which were recorded via a Digital Audio Workstation.
Unintended Consequences
Released in early 2017, the third Lone Cosmonaut long player 'Unintended Consequences' is an uncompromising reflection on political upheavals within the UK and United States at that time, woven into pulsing analogue synth patterns with a hefty serving of bass and heavy rhythms. A cautionary tale of what can happen when political naivety, biased vitriolic press reporting, lies and public ignorance are combined.

Random Patterns Of Behaviour
During breaks from work on his next album, Lone Cosmonaut made random experiments with vintage synth sounds. It turns out that the best of this random behaviour comes together to form a coherent group of tracks!
